We offer a wide variety of parts for your OEM or High Performance Build. The proper combination of parts will make for an efficient, durable and powerful engine. We have the experience to get a proper package together for you regardless of make.
OEM replacement, Performance aluminum and iron we've got you covered.
We are direct with Scat, RacTec, Ford Performance and can source products from all manufacturers.
Whether a remanned OEM unit or performance aftermarket we've got you covered.
Custom recurving available and advised for both stock rebuilds and Performance combinations.
Re-manufactured parts store distributors have mechanical (centrifugal) timing curves that bear little resemblance to those supplied by the OEM's when the engine was new.
Further complicating matters is the fact that ignition curves in OEM distributors were conservative as well as emissions oriented.
As the EPA imposed then implimented the clean air act in the late 60's and early 70's ignition curves were designed for engines to pass tail pipe emissions testing and little more.
Proper set up of a mechanical distributor offers increased Torque and peak HP numbers. In addition and as important are better throttle response both tip in and transient.
Each build from a stock reman to our 800 HP "557 inch Beast" has its own unique timing needs both in total degrees and rate (RPM where all mechanical timing is in)
All engine build parameters with combustion chamber style and cylinder head material at the top of the list, vehicle type, weight, gearing, transmission, stall speed and tire height as well as fuel to be used and overall vehicle intended use are factored in to create a proper timing curve.
Also of note is the fact that few aftermarket distributors have a proper performance ignition curve. Remember each engine combo is unique.
Cost to re-curve Your distributor. $110.00 plus return shipping.
Custom curved Re-mans available as well as custom curved Aftermarket units.
New custom curved units with cap and rotor with brass contacts from $189.95 to your door.

A custom built carburetor can add not only HP but enhanced economy, tip in and transient response and of course good looks.
Kit cost is $3,095.00 plus shipping.
We have found a new source for replacement F3 castings for the venerable 460 EFI platform.
We start with BARE castings machining and outfitting them the Ppam way.
Castings have hard exhaust AND intake seats.
Machine operations performed on bare castings requires 6 hours of labor per pair.
Manganese bronze guide liners
Top guides and cut for PC seals
Cut spring seats for spring cups
Top guide boss in intake bowl
3 angle performance valve job
Check and set valve stem tip heights for consistency.
Bowl hog intake and exhaust to 90% with Ppam designed cutter. Hog is parallel to intake centerline and leaves a radius to hand blend into the long side radii.
Unshroud intake valve / chamber wall and radius chamber into the top of the intake seat 30* angle providing a shear ledge at low valve lift.
Deck heads to 92 cc's from 97. Chambers can go smaller if needed.
Back cut both intake and exhaust valves for better low lift flow. This is a proven power producer.
Valves are assigned to a specific chamber and back cut is completed then.
We use:
Ferrea 2.110" stainless intake valves
SI 1.65" stainless exhaust valves
Metal clad viton P/C guide seals.
Upgraded single with damper spring package. 125# / 300#
Moly retainers and hardened locks
Hard spring seat cups
Hardened spring shims as needed.
Once machining operations are completed Scotty Jay starts the porting process which takes 5 hours per pair of castings...
Hand blend the bowls
Rolls short turn radii
Deburr intake port entry
Slightly increase intake port cross section at short turn
Increase exhaust port exit cross section
Deburr guide liner tops and and in bowls.
Final assembly entails:
Installing valves and rechecking contact pattern
Checking and setting individual spring installed heights to + or - .010"
Install P/C seals
Install springs
As received flow rates:
Port 1 and 2 intake 235 / 250 @ .500"
Exhaust port 172 @ .500"
After hand blending etc...
Port 1 and 2 intake 270 / 275 @ .500"
Exhaust port 180+
Both intake and exhaust ports will now flow to .600" lift which is far more than any EFI combo will utilize.
287 / 294 intake
193 exhaust
Though port shapes are slightly different flow rates are as good as OEM F3 or E7 castings.
Top end kit shown is $2,995.00.
Ported intake done on an exchange basis.
Cam, lifters assembly grease by gibbs and cam print out. 50 states emissions compliant and SD friendly.
