We’ve secured a new source for replacement F3 castings for the proven 460 EFI platform. Every set begins as a bare casting and is fully machined, corrected, ported, and assembled by the PPAM team with performance and durability as the priority.
These castings feature hardened intake and exhaust seats and are built from the ground up in-house.
Precision Machining & Preparation
Each pair receives respectable machining before port work begins. We install manganese bronze guide liners, cut for positive-control seals, machine spring seats for hardened cups, and properly profile the intake guide bosses. A true three-angle performance valve job is performed, and stem tip heights are corrected for consistency.
The bowls are cut to 90% using our proprietary PPAM-designed cutter, aligned parallel to the intake centerline to preserve airflow integrity. Chambers are unshrouded and radiused into the intake seat to improve low-lift flow. Heads are decked from 97cc to 92cc (or smaller as needed), and both intake and exhaust valves are back-cut for improved efficiency — a proven power gain.
Quality Components Throughout
We use Ferrea 2.110” stainless intake valves and SI 1.65” stainless exhaust valves, paired with metal-clad Viton seals and an upgraded single spring package rated at approximately 125 lbs on the seat and 300 lbs open. Moly retainers, hardened locks, hardened spring cups, and precision shimming ensure proper installed height and long-term reliability.

Hand-Finished Port Work
After machining, each set receives detailed hand blending and airflow refinement. Bowls are blended, short turns are shaped, intake entries are cleaned, and exhaust exits are optimized. The result is increased airflow without sacrificing velocity or street manners.
As delivered, intake flow improves into the 270–275 CFM range at .500” lift, with exhaust exceeding 180 CFM. At .600” lift, intake flow approaches 290+ CFM. Both ports now carry airflow cleanly beyond the lift range most EFI combinations will ever use.
This fully prepared top-end kit is available as shown, with ported intake available on an exchange basis. Camshaft and lifters are available, and all combinations remain 50-state emissions compliant and speed-density friendly. Packages start at $3,095.
